Information we collect

EUFEMED relies on freely given opt-in consent for collection of your personal data. We collect information about you, provided by you when you register with our website. We prefer to use third-party processors that are within the EU.

Third party Processors

  • MailChimp: We use MailChimp for email distribution services and consent tracking. When users register with our website, Mailchimp acts as a repository for the details provided, including consent tracking. It further acts on EUFEMED´s behalf to send certain messages based on the information users have asked to receive. When you read an email sent via Mailchimp it may be able to record the time and date you opened the email, how often you opened the email and the country location of where you were when you opened the email.
  • SurveyMonkey: From time to time we will survey our members and subscribers to our mailing list using SurveyMonkey. They may retain your email address (if that is how the survey is being distributed).
  • JotForm: We may use embedded JotForms on our site to collect information and take bookings for meetings and events and for other purposes. JotForms are customized for each specific use and may collect and process your contact information and bank details in order to take payments. Each JotForm will request your consent to process this data.
  • PayPal: Payments for events and meetings may be taken via PayPal. Such payments will be part of a JotForm where we will request your consent to process your contact information and bank details in order to take payments.


Use of Cookies

A cookie is a text file that a website transfers to your computer’s hard disk so that the website can remember who you are. Cookies only record those areas of a website that have been visited by your computer and for how long.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

  • Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling: Automated individual decision-making is a decision made by automated means without any human involvement.

EUFEMED does not engage in automated decision-making and data will not be used in this manner.
